This article presents an analysis of the time-dependent dynamics of morphological changes in liver tissue in an experimental model of gallstone disease in laboratory rabbits. The study included 25 healthy male rabbits divided into five groups, and morphological changes were assessed on days 7, 14, 21, and 30. Macroscopic and microscopic changes in the liver and bile ducts were evaluated using a semiquantitative scoring system. Early stages were characterized by dystrophic and microcirculatory changes, whereas later stages showed progressive cholestasis, inflammation, necrobiotic changes, and fibrotic-sclerotic remodeling. The degree of morphological alterations increased consistently with the duration of the experiment.
