OPTIMIZATION OF PREVENTIVE MEASURES BASED ON THE STUDY OF MAMMOGRAPHIC SCREENING RESULTS FOR THE EARLY DETECTION OF BREAST CANCER (A CASE STUDY OF THE FERGANA REGION)

Breast cancer remains the leading oncological disease among women in Uzbekistan, with 4,454 new cases and 2,067 deaths recorded in 2020 alone. This article provides a scientific analysis of mammographic screening coverage in Fergana region, the causes of low adherence to mammography, organizational challenges faced by healthcare workers, and the potential for optimizing preventive measures based on screening results. The develop­ment of a comprehensive prevention algorithm targeting early-stage breast cancer detection through expanded population screening coverage is substantiated.
