PATHOMORPHOLOGY OF THE PANCREAS IN INTRAHEPATIC CHOLESTASIS DEVELOPED DEPENDING ON PREGNANCY PARITY

Objective: To evaluate the clinical significance of modern surgical and minimally invasive biliary decompression methods in patients with obstructive jaundice of tumor origin and to optimize treatment strategies.
Materials and Methods: The treatment outcomes of 235 patients treated at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology between 2021 and 2026 were analyzed. The main group consisted of 150 patients, while the comparison group included 85 patients. Clinical, laboratory, and instrumental examination findings were assessed, along with the effectiveness of biliary drainage, endoscopic stenting, percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage (PTBD), endoscopic ultrasound-guided biliary drainage (EUS-BD), radical, and palliative surgical interventions.
Conclusion: In patients with obstructive jaundice of tumor origin, the treatment strategy should be individualized according to tumor localization, the level of biliary obstruction, tumor resectability, and the patient's general condition.
