Abstract

Organ-specific immunological response (ASL and OSAt) and its clinical significance in children with acute intestinal infection and parasitosis. This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the clinical features and organ-specific immunological response in children suffering from acute intestinal infections accompanied by parasitic invasions. The study included 168 children, stratified into groups with and without concomitant parasitosis. The results clearly demonstrated that the presence of parasitosis leads to the preferential localization of the pathological process in the small intestine, as well as a significant prolongation of diarrhea and hospitalization periods. Laboratory and immunological analyses revealed elevated levels of antigenbinding lymphocytes targeting liver and intestinal tissues against the background of parasitosis. This indicates a latent but chronic activation of the local immune inflammatory process in the pediatric body.
