The article analyzes the distribution of alleles and genotypes of the FSHR gene A2036G polymorphism in adolescent girls with juvenile uterine bleeding (JUB) occurring against the background of obesity. The minor G allele was detected more frequently in patients with JUB than in conditionally healthy participants (50.0% vs. 36.9%; OR=1.7; 95% CI: 1.1–2.66). In contrast, the A/A genotype was more frequently observed among conditionally healthy participants and demonstrated a potentially protective effect (OR=0.5; 95% CI: 0.25–0.95). The findings suggest that the FSHR A2036G polymorphism may have a potential role as a genetic susceptibility factor in the development of JUB.
