A COMPARATIVE ASSESSMENT OF ATTENTION CHARACTERISTICS IN CHILDREN ATTENDING PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS USING THE ANFIMOV PROOFREADING TEST

This article presents the results of an assessment of mental performance and attention characteristics in children attending preschool educational organizations. Using the Anfimov letter-based proofreading test, the speed, accuracy, error rate, and stability of attention were evaluated in 228 children from modular (n=114) and traditional (n=114) types of preschools in the city of Tashkent and the Surkhandarya region. The results showed that children in traditional preschools had significantly higher information processing speed and attention stability (P<0.01), whereas the attention accuracy rate was higher in modular preschools (P<0.05). Furthermore, in modular preschools, girls demonstrated a lower error rate compared to boys (P<0.05). These findings confirm that the organizational and structural features of the preschool educational environment affect individual components of children's attention and highlight the practical importance of the hygienic and pedagogical optimization of this environment.
