Abstract

Purpose. To assess a clinical-digital model combining standardized functional scales and ROFES parameters for personalizing and predicting rehabilitation outcomes in patients with chronic musculoskeletal disorders.

Materials and methods. The study included 75 adults with chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Pain (VAS), SF-36 Physical Functioning, HADS anxiety, ROFES parameters, functional profiles and a 0–4-point rehabilitation prognosis index (RPI) were evaluated.

Results. Pain scores decreased from 5.1±1.7 to 3.1±1.4, SF-36 Physical Functioning increased from 45.4±14.2 to 58.7±13.6, and HADS anxiety decreased from 8.8±3.2 to 6.6±2.7. Profile I increased from 24.0% to 46.7%, while profile III decreased from 26.7% to 10.7%. Favorable responses occurred in 85.7%, 65.0% and 25.0% of patients with RPI scores of 3–4, 2 and 0–1, respectively.

Conclusion. Combining clinical scales with ROFES-based monitoring may support individualized rehabilitation planning; the prediction model requires external validation.
