A 100-point Brain Oncology Index (BOI) scale has been developed to assess the severity of the pathological condition in patients with brain tumors, as well as disease progression, treatment efficacy, and prognosis. The scale comprises 41 clinical and instrumental parameters grouped into three categories: general status, neurological status, and brain MRI findings. Each parameter is scored based on the severity of pathological abnormalities, and the final score is calculated as the sum of these values. Use of the BOI scale enhances the objectivity and accuracy of the quantitative assessment of patients with brain tumors.
