Abstract

In patients with nasal deformities of various origins, the bony structures of the external nose, nasal septum, anterior nasal spine, nasal cavity airways and paranasal sinuses were evaluated using multislice computed tomography. The study was conducted at the multidisciplinary clinic of Tashkent State Medical University and included 132 participants. Of these, 102 patients had nasal deformities of various origins, while 30 individuals formed the control group. MSCT examination was used as an important instrumental method complementing clinical, endoscopic and photometric data and made it possible to identify internal anatomical components of deformity that were not evident on external examination.
