This study addresses a significant issue in pediatric neuro-oncology. The relationship between the recurrence/progression of supratentorial glial brain tumors and the degree of tumor anaplasia, extent of surgical resection, and the administration of postoperative radiotherapy was investigated. Treatment outcomes in children with supratentorial glial tumors were assessed through the evaluation of quality of life indicators in patients who underwent not only surgical treatment but also adjuvant radiotherapy. The findings demonstrate that the effectiveness of therapeutic strategies should be evaluated not solely by oncological outcomes but also by their impact on the long-term quality of life of pediatric patients.
